
BILL McKINNEY JR.
Mr. Bill McKinney Jr., 46, of 406 Parkview Dr., died at 4:35 a.m. Friday (September 15, 2006) in the emergency room of Blessing Hospital.
Born September 13, 1960 in Quincy; Bill was the son of Bill McKinney Sr. and Emily Joann Jarvis Bolt. He married Patty J. Campbell on June 22, 1984 in Payson, Illinois. She survives.
Bill was a member of Union United Methodist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Quincy High School and attended Barber College in Springfield, Illinois. Bill loved to play tennis and video games. He enjoyed running and loved to attend all of the Liberty Fun Runs.
Bill owned and operated the Paris Barber Shop at 8th & Kentucky since 1984.
Survivors include his wife Patty; two daughters, April McKinney and Samantha McKinney both of Quincy; his mother, Emily Joann Bolt of Quincy; his father, Bill McKinney Sr. of Springfield, MO.; a brother, Marty McKinney of Quincy; his grandfather in law, Bob Hoener of Quincy; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Morwell. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 7:00 and the family will meet with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to children's educational fund.
