BLANCHE L. ANDRIX

Blanche L. Andrix, 96, of 119 South Church St., Plainville, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday (June 9, 2007) in Blessing Hospital.

Born June 2, 1911 in Lewis County, Missouri, Blanche was the daughter of Henry and Ida Mae Neumann Maples. She married Robert V. Andrix on October 8, 1941 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1980.

Blanche enjoyed gardening and solving crossword puzzles. She was employed as an assembler for Motorola for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include two grandsons, Don Aman and his wife Deborah of Plainville, IL. and David Allensworth of Yellville, AR.; four great grandchildren, Don Aman Jr. and his wife Rachel, Nick Aman and his wife Shannon, Danielle Franks and her husband Bobbie and Jon Allensworth and his wife Tiffany; eight great great grandchildren; and a niece, Norma Barnes and her husband Allen of Quincy.

Mrs. Andrix was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Dolores Allensworth; a brother, Milton Maples; and a sister, Frances Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Bruce Willard. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
