
CAROL R. BRACKLEY
Miss Carol R. Brackley, 78, of the St. Vincent's Home, died at 9:37 p.m. Saturday (October 1, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.
Born May 9, 1927 in Marblehead, Illinois, Carol was the daughter of Alfred R. and Laura R. Triplett Brackley.
Carol was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She had the distinction of being the longest current resident at St. Vincent's Home.
Surviving is a sister, Mary Hurley of Quincy; four nieces, Brenda Scharnhorst of Quincy, Cheri Schettl of Neenah, WI., Linda Russell and her husband Don of Kansas City, MO. and Laurel Spence and her husband Richard of St. Augustine, FL.; two nephews, David Jording and his wife Joann of Sherwood, WI. and Bernard Brackley of Kansas City, MO.; and many loving great nieces and great nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bruce Brackley and Bernard Brackley; a sister, Bess K. Jording; and a nephew, Ronald Hurley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church by the Rev. Larry Troxel. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
