CAROLYN CAINE

Carolyn Caine, 77, of Good Samaritan Home formerly of 930 1/2 South 12th died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday (December 13, 2009) in the home.

Born November 8, 1932 in Quincy. Carolyn was the daughter of Walter and Harriett Wheeler Ertel. She married Charles Caine on December 9, 1987 in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2003.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and a 1950 graduate of Quincy High School.

Survivors include two sister, Janet Terstegge and her husband Floyd of Quincy and Mary Lou Senalik and her husband John of Springfield, IL; one brother, Richard Ertel and his wife Betty of Quincy and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great nephew.

Mrs. Caine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Walter Ertel Jr. and one sister Norma Groce.

Graveside services will be held Thursday morning 11:00 at Greenmount Cemetery with the Rev. Marlin Rempfer officiating.

There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
