CLIFTON C. BADER

Mr. Clifton C. Bader, 81, of the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, formerly of Mendota, died Wednesday (January 12, 2005) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Born June 13, 1923 in Welland, Illinois, Mr. Bader was the son of Charles J. and Edith J. Larkin Bader.

Mr. Bader was of the Catholic Faith. He served his country as a staff sergeant in the U. S. Army during WW II receiving four Bronze Battle Stars.

Mr. Bader was employed as a commercial artist for many years.

Surviving are two nephews, Jim Bader of Crete, IL. and Dr. Gerald F. Bader of Vancouver, WA.; a niece, Sue Jobst of Ottawa, IL.; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Bader was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Don Bader.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday (January 19, 2005) at 8:30 a.m. in the All Faiths Chapel at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy by the Rev. Richard Jeske. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:00 until the time of services at the Chapel.

Private graveside services will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Mendota by the Rev. Dale Maloy.
