DONNA J. BREUER

Donna J. Breuer, 68, of 1414 Spring, Quincy, died at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (December 19, 2009) in her home.

Born December 2, 1941 in Quincy, Donna was the daughter of Richard and Betty Huner Holman. She was married to Larry Melvin from October 31, 1958 until 1981.

Donna attended Quincy High School, Quincy Beauty Academy and Grace United Methodist Church until their closing. An avid Elvis Presley fan, Donna also enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, photography, shopping and she loved animals. Devoted to her family, Donna loved taking part in and attending her children's and grandchildren's activities.

Donna has been employed at Sharkey Transportation since 1998 and was previously employed at Pix Photo.

Survivors include her parents; Richard and Betty Holman of Quincy; two sons, Jett Melvin and his wife Geri and Scott Melvin and his wife Anita both of Quincy; a daughter, Samantha Billingsley and her husband Kenny of Quincy; five grandchildren, Kassady "Kassy" Melvin, Lacey Platt, Presley Melvin, Bronson Melvin and Kolter Melvin; a brother, Rocke Breuer and his wife Jill of Quincy; and an aunt, Bobbie Reuser of Quincy.

Donna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Plura Huner; and an uncle, Robert Reuser.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Morwell. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Blessing Heart Center or Chaddock Home Youth Services.
