DOROTHY H. RAUSENBERGER

Mrs. Dorothy H. Rausenberger, 98, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 1348 South 28th, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (January 29, 2005) in Good Samaritan Home.

Born March 8, 1906 in Brooklyn, New York, Dorothy was the daughter of Charles and Laura Skidmore Hacker. She married Herman G. Rausenberger on July 16, 1925 in New York. He died on June 25, 1989.

Dorothy was a member of the Women's City Club and P. E. O. She devoted her life to raising her family and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include a son, Alan H. Rausenberger and his wife Patricia of Carterville, IL.; three grandchildren, Jason Rausenberger and his wife Annie of Herrin, IL., Amy Frerichs and her husband Brian of Marion, IL. and Beth Mueller and her husband Dan of Chicago, IL.; and two great grandchildren, Anna Frerichs and Katie Frerichs both of Marion, IL.

Mrs. Rausenberger was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and an infant sister, Adelle Hacker.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:15 in Quincy Memorial Park by Chaplain Steve Disseler.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
