EDDIE LEE WILLIAMS

Eddie Lee Williams, 65, of 8034 Columbus Rd., Fowler, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday (May 4, 2008) in his home.

Born October 18, 1942 in Quincy, Eddie was the son of Edgar and Dorothy Cox Williams. He married Dorothy Myers on December 28, 1961 in Quincy. She survives.

Mr. Williams served his country in the Army and enjoyed bowling, trap shooting and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was employed at Gardner Denver for 38 years retiring as a toe motor operator.

Survivors include two daughters Eva Williams of Quincy and Penny Ivey and her husband Clyde of Independence, KS; three sons Guy Williams, Lee Williams, and Alex Williams all of Fowler; one grandchild Rebecca Ivey of INdependence, KS; two sisters Virginia Ward and her husband Larry of Payson and Patricia Wemhoner of Quincy; a brother John Williams and his wife Jo of Quincy; a brother in law Ruben Saltares of Puerto Rico; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marianne Saltares, a brother Giovanni Williams and a granddaughter Veronica Lynn.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Mr. Williams. Memorial services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Inurnment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
