GARNETT LISENBEE

Mrs. Garnett Lisenbee, 83, of 507 Adams, died at 9:07 p.m. Thursday (September 7, 2006) in Sunset Home.

Born April 22, 1923 in Versailles, Illinois, Garnett was the daughter of William Henry and Maude Ella Perry Hill. She married James Arthur Lisenbee on July 5, 1943 in Versailles, Illinois. He died April 2, 1988.

Mrs. Lisenbee was a member of the Quincy Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed flower gardening and bible study.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Alonzo and her husband Albert of Ottawa, IL. and Connie Lisenbee of Quincy; two grandchildren, Eric Alonzo and his wife Vicki and Traci Alonzo both of Ottawa, IL.; two great grandchildren, James Alonzo and Kylie Alonzo both Ottawa, IL.; a sister, Bertha Logsdon and her husband John of Quincy ; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lisenbee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, Dale, Perry, Dana, Laverne, Lozelle and Verlin Hill; and three sisters, Wilma Stone, Blanche Bridgeman and Hazel Gaskill.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Danny Wesley. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
