GRACE LEPPER RELLIM
Grace Lepper Rellim 91, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 1605 Harrison, died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday (September 27, 2006) in Good Samaritan Home.
Born October 31, 1914 in Fall Creek, Mrs. Rellim was the daughter of Walter and Minnie Robertson Lepper. She married Lloyd Blondin Rellim on December 5, 1935. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1947.
Grace loved life and made many friends playing Bingo and going to the Casino across the river.
Grace attended Quincy High School and Gem City Business College before beginning work at Motorola the first day they opened in 1948 , working there for 12 years. She later was employed at W. T. Grant until her retirement in 1975. Following her retirement, Grace became a Quincy City Assesor.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Kuhlman and her husband Melvin of Payson; a son, Neil Rellim and his wife Shirley of Quincy; three grandchildren, Kelley (Kuhlman) Stephens and her husband Brian of Springfield, IL., Karla (Kuhlman) Martin and her husband Terry of Baylis, IL. and Renee' Lyn (Rellim) Pool and her husband Craig of Arenzville, IL.; six great grandchildren, Mark Stephens and Tyler Stephens both of Springfield, IL., Whitney Martin and Trenton Martin both of Baylis, IL., Bryce Pool and Brennen Pool both of Arenzville, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rellim was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Norman Lepper and Russell Lepper; and a sister, Helen (Lepper) Evans.
Cremation rites were accorded to Mrs. Rellim. Private family graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. Rick Welch. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
