HARLAN W. LOOS
Mr. Harlan W. Loos, 85, of 2026 Cherry Lane Estates, formerly of rural LaGrange, MO, died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday (November 7, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.
Born September 18, 1921 in Melrose Township, Harlan was the son of Charles David and Elva Brown Loos. He married Dorothy Heithold on June 16, 1960 in Quincy. She survives.
Mr. Loos was a cattle and grain farmer farming in Adams County in his younger years and later for many years in Lewis County, Missouri. Harlan was a member of the Lewis County Farm Bureau.
Also surviving are two nieces, Carol Lewis of Plainville, IL, Eleanor Hunt of Fairfax, VA; three nephews, Dennis Loos and Carolyn of Bethel, MO, Robert Adair and Cheryl of Knox City, MO, and James Adair and Janet of Columbia, MO; one sister, Olive Cook of Quincy; and two sisters in law, Edna Loos of Quincy, and Marjorie Wiseman of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by many cousins.
Mr. Loos was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Elmo L., Charles S., and Gerry J. Loos.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.
