HELEN BLANCHE KLOS OTT

Mrs. Helen B. Ott, 94, of the North Adams Home, formerly of 611 Country Club Heights, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday (February 22, 2005) at North Adams Home.

Born December 18, 1910 in Wausau, WI., Helen was the daughter of Theodore and Ada Foster Klos. She married Julius Fredrick Ott on November 24, 1929 in Wausau, WI. He died May 22, 1971.

Mrs. Ott was a member of Luther Memorial Church. She was a graduate of Wausau Schools and attended Hibbing Junior College. Helen was a member of Alpha Chapter #109 O.E.S., Order of White Shrine of Jeruslem #3 and the Daughters of the Nile.

Helen dearly loved her family, friends, neighbors and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

She was employed as a bookkeeper at Montgomery Ward, Deusterhaus Fertilizer and Sunset Home until her retirement.

Surviving is her son, James R. Ott and his wife Nancy of Quincy; four grandchildren, James M. Ott and his wife Kelly of Austin, TX., Ms. Susan Peters of Normal, IL., Ms. Diane Roderick and her fiance' Thomas Lane and David Ott, all of Quincy; eight great grandchildren, Megan Ott of Austin, TX., Carly Ott of Denton, TX., Mrs. Kai Fleer and her husband Brian of Quincy, Ryan Peters of Normal, IL, Derek and Connor Ott and Stuart and Spencer Roderick, all of Quincy; and two great great grandchildren, Zane Goehl and Morgan Fleer, both of Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Eva Wisniewski and Irene Winter; and one brother, Harold Klos.

Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 at Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. Leland Uden.

There is no visitation, but friends may call at James and Nancy's home, 6019 Hickory Grove S., following the graveside service.
