HENRY H. BRUESKE

Mr. Henry H. Brueske, 99, of Alliance, Ohio, formerly of 2217 Jefferson, Quincy, died Monday (May 11, 2009) in Alliance, Ohio.

Born April 14, 1910 in New Ulm, Minnesota, Henry was the son of Herbert and Bertha Nagel Brueske. He married Laurane Hamann on March 28, 1936 in New Ulm, Minnesota. She preceded him in death on January 17, 2000.

Henry was a member of the Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.

Henry was employed as Maintenance Supervisor at Davis-Cleaver for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include a son, Charles Brueske and his wife Brenda of Alliance, OH; two grandchildren, Curt Brueske and his wife Colleen of Albany, N.Y. and Christopher Brueske and his wife Sabine of Bellingham, WA; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas Brueske, Katherine Brueske and Andrew Brueske all of Albany, N.Y. and Thomas Brueske and Connor Brueske both of Bellingham, WA; a sister, Mabel Gatzke of New Ulm, MN; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brueske was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Laurane.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 2:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
