HILDA I. MAYFIELD

Mrs. Hilda I. Mayfield, 83, of Sycamore Health Care Centre, formerly of 1409 N. 4th, died at 6:05 p.m. at the home.

Born Janaury 10, 1922 in Quincy, Hilda was the daughter of Herbert H. and Marietta Drake McKenna. She married Donald Keith Mayfield on May 8, 1943 in Olympia, WA. He died June 7, 1992.

Mrs. Mayfield was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing embroidering and listening to Cardinal baseball and Quincy Blue Devil basketball games.

Surviving is a daughter, Janice Davis of Famington, IA.; two sons, Donald E. Mayfield and his wife Peggy of Quincy and Michael B. Mayfield of Macomb; 6 grandchildren, Bill Romans and his wife Deanna, William Trenter and his wife Amy and Donald Scott Mayfield and his wife Heather all of Quincy, Gretchen Ridgeway and her husband Jerry of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO., Alice Wilson and her husband Jack of Lewistown, IL., and Mikey Mayfield of Macomb;10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Ferguson of Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, William McKenna.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Kevin McGinnis. Burial will be in Harwood Cemetery near Silom Springs.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 3:00 until 6:00 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
