
JAMES F. KEANE
Mr. James F. Keane, 72, of 3610 Orchard Road, died at 1:18 a.m. Wednesday (December 20, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.
Born January 5, 1934 in Quincy, Jim was the son of Alfred J. and Helen Wessel Keane. He married Jean Sullivan on March 25, 1967 in Quincy. She survives.
Mr. Keane served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Keane was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 100. He was employed as a binderyman for
J. K. Creative Printers for many years until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, James Keane and Jeffrey Keane both of Quincy; a sister, Mary Icenogle of Quincy; a sister in law, Mary Keane of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Keane was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Pat Keane; and two sisters, Phyllis Zang and Joan Steinkamp.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at a visitation on Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
Private burial with military honors by Quincy American Legion Post 37 will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
