JUANITA J. ANDERSON

Mrs. Juanita J. Anderson, 70, of 3121 South 24th, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday (April 14, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.

Born September 26, 1934 in Adams County, Juanita was the daughter of Harold and Anna Gerken Parn. She married Joe Anderson on February 7, 1952 in Quincy. He survives.

Juanita was a member of Madison Park Christian Church. She was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in following the activities of her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; three sons, Stan Anderson and his wife Julie of Quincy, Terry Anderson and his wife Arlene of Ottumwa, IA. and Tim Anderson and his wife Terry of Quincy; nine grandchildren, Christy Tucker and her husband Brian of Orlando, FL., Mitchell Anderson and Logan Anderson both of Ottumwa, IA.and Cody Anderson, Shelby Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Cole Anderson, Gabe Briscoe and Erica Briscoe all of Quincy; four brothers, Harold Parn and his wife Dorothy of Ocala, FL., Gary Parn and his wife Chris of Lincoln, IL., Niles Parn of Mt. Sterling, IL. and Tony Parn and his wife Nena of Groveland, IL.; two sisters, Irma Yates and her husband Charles of Mclean, IL. and Janice Parn of Heyworth, IL.; a brother in law, Max Durfee of Sedalia, MO.; a sister in law, Patty Parn of Mt. Sterling, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carole Durfee.

Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Pastor Bruce Willard and Pastor Keith Ehresman. There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services.
