JUDY ANN ANDERS

Mrs. Judy Ann Anders, 56, of 533 Van Buren, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday (November 12, 2007) in the emergency room of Blessing Hospital.

Born March 6, 1951 in Quincy, Judy was the daughter of Frank George and Louise Alma Hildegard Martin Knuffman. She married Ernest Milo Anders Sr. on April 17, 1971 in Quincy. He survives.

Judy enjoyed playing Bingo and needlepoint and was an avid racing fan who loved going to the races. She devoted her life to caring for her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest; a daughter, Tonja Tate and her husband Stanton of Quincy; two sons, Ernest Milo Anders Jr. and his wife Emily and Ronald Lee Anders both of Quincy; four grandchildren, Daylin Anders, Dominic Anders, Sativa Anders and Stephanie Anders all of Quincy; a brother, Frank Charles "Butch" Knuffman of Quincy; six sisters, Norma Carroll, Kathy Knuffman, Rita Stone and her husband Les and Wanda Genenbacher all of Hannibal, MO., Peggy Neff and her husband John of Quincy and Mary Taylor and her husband Jesse of Palmyra, MO.; her best friend, Margie Monetti; and many loving nieces , nephews and friends.

Mrs. Anders was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda Brinkley; and twin siblings, Bonnie and Ronnie Knuffman.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
