JULIE FLESNER

Mrs. Julie Flesner, 58, of 534 Sicily Court, North Liberty, Iowa, died Wednesday morning (May 13, 2009) in her home.

Born August 23, 1950, Julie was the daughter of Dale Radamaker and Shirley Grueke. She married John Flesner on November 13, 1987 in Iowa City, Iowa. He survives.

Julie was a member of the Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa where she was active in all the church activities, especially the Ladies Bible School. She also taught Sunday School.

Julie was a manager at the Iowa Memorial Union Bookstores at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Survivors include her husband, John; her parents, Dale Radamaker and Shirley Grueke; two daughters, Andrea Emmons of Chicago and Hannah Mountain and her husband Brent of Mt. Sterling, IL; two sons, Chris Emmons and his wife Shelly of Ladoga, IN and Dane Flesner of Mt. Sterling, IL; a brother, David Radamaker of Waterloo, Iowa; and her father and mother in law, Harry and Lucille Flesner of Quincy.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa with Rev. Paul Hansen and Rev. Brooks Simpson officiating.
