
KAREN KIBLER GOSSELIN
Mrs. Karen Kibler Gosselin, 44, of Toledo, OH., passed away Monday (May 28, 2007) in her home surrounded by her family after a long three and half year courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 25, 1962 in Quincy, IL., Karen was the daughter of Thomas and Frances Mae Pracht Kibler. She married James M. Gosselin on April 17, 1991 in Toledo, OH. He survives.
Mrs. Gosselin was a member of The North Point Church of the Nazerine in Toledo, OH. While living in Quincy she was a charter member of Faith Christian Church. She was a 1980 graduate of Quincy High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Columbia College in Columbia, MO. and Culver Stockton College in Canton, MO.
Karen was a restaurant manager for York Steak House in Quincy before being transferred to Toledo, OH. in July of 1990. When York Steak House closed Karen began a new career in the retail clothing business.
Also surviving is her father, Thomas Kibler of Acworth, GA.; two daughters, Lisa M. Gosselin and Lori Ann Mae Gosselin, both of Toledo, OH.; a son, Jeffrey A. Jones of Toledo, OH.; a sister, Kathy L. Kibler of Woodstock, GA.; a brother, Kevin L. Kibler of Acworth, GA.; a brother in law, Robert Gosselin of Toledo, OH.; a nephew, Jacob Kibler of Woodstock, GA.; and a dear friend, Jill Kaelber Monken and her husband Clifford of Lombard, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Kibler.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Faith Christian Church by Rev. Henry Pratt. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the church.
Memorials may be made to the children's education fund.
