KENNY CLARK

Mr. Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Clark, 63, of 1033 North 11th, died at 4:50 p.m. Monday (February 28, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.

Born February 13, 1942 in Quincy, Kenny was the son of Roy and Laura Mae Willis Clark Sr. He married his soulmate of 20 years, Tami Benjamin, on December 26, 1998 in Quincy. She survives.

Kenny was of the Baptist Faith. He was a 1960 graduate of Quincy High School where he was a member of the Blue Devil basketball team and track team. Mr. Clark served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1962 - 1966. Kenny enjoyed cooking and gardening, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren and watching sports with his sons.

Kenny was employed as a Guard for Per Mar Security until his retirement due to his health. He had previously been employed by J. M. Huber as a blaster for nine years, and also Electric Wheel, Titan Wheel, and Colt Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Tami; two sons, Aaron Clark and Kelcey Clark and his companion Lakiska Burton both of Quincy; three grandchildren, Devonte' Clark and Armani Clark both of Quincy and Ariel McNeil of Georgia; a sister, Marie Jackson and her husband Donald of Kalamazoo, MI.; a brother, Roy Clark Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Des Moines, IA.; an Aunt, Darlene Willis of Des Moines, IA.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Khalil Clark; and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. James Bailey. Burial with Military Honors by Payson  V. F. W. Post 2061 will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.
