KIMBERLY ANN JENKINS

Mrs. Kimberly Ann Jenkins, 35, of 720 South 20th, died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday (January 22, 2005) at Blessing Hospital.

Born September 30, 1969 in West Point, New York, Kimberly was the daughter of Carl and Sally Shoop Johnson. She was united in marriage to Mark Jenkins on September 14, 2001 in Quincy. From this marriage was born a beautiful daughter, Annelise Brielle on October 7, 2003.

Kimberly enjoyed building doll houses and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for always having a happy smile and a twinkle in her eye. Kimberly was a loving wife and devoted mother who will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her, as she brought much joy into the lives of her loved ones.

A 1987 graduate of Quincy High School, Kimberly was employed as a claims processor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Quincy.

Survivors include her husband, Mark and her daughter, Annelise Brielle; her parents, Carl and Sally Johnson of Quincy; two sisters, Laura Duesterhaus and her husband Joe and Debbie Lucas and her husband Jim both of Quincy; a niece, Ellen Duesterhaus of Quincy; three nephews, Karl Duesterhaus and Tim and Deacon Lucas all of Quincy; her mother in law, Bonnie Jenkins of Quincy; a step son, Army SSG Shannon Jenkins and his wife Randie of St. Louis, MO., two step daughters, Michelle Jenkins and Robin Jenkins both of Quincy; an adopted step daughter, Tamara of Quincy; three step grandchildren, Meghan Jenkins and Cheyenne Jenkins of St. Louis, MO. and Dakota Jenkins of Columbia, MO.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward and Nadine Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Shoop; and her father in law, Robert Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Brother Ed Arambasich, OFM. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery in Durham, Missouri.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 and Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Annelise Brielle Jenkins Trust Fund and left at the funeral home.
