LENNABELLE ANNE "LENNY" WINN

Ms. Lennabelle Anne "Lenny" Winn, 63, of Toronto, Canada, formerly of Hannibal, Missouri, died November 23, 2005 at East General Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

Born March 22, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri, Lenny was the daughter of Ira Eugene and Lennabelle James Winn.

She was an avid canoe tripper and enjoyed skiing and gardening. She was also an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Lenny was a 1960 graduate of Hannibal High School. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from George Williams University in Chicago and did her graduate work at Western Illinois University. She taught at Monmouth High School and Proviso High School in Lombard, IL and then moved to Toronto where she taught physical education and health for the North York Board of Education.

Surviving is her dear friend, Sandra Whittall of Toronto, Canada; two brothers, William R. Winn and his wife Joyce of Quincy and John R. Winn and his wife Kristin of Grand Junction, CO.; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald E. Winn.

Memorial services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Kenn Leischner. Private family inurnment will be in the Barkley Cemetery near New London, Missouri at a later date.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Camp Oko Tipi near Hannibal, Missouri.
