Mr. Leonard V. Lelli, 79, of the Illinois Veterans Home, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday (July 21, 2005) in the home.

Born September 3, 1925 in Mt. Clare, Illinois, Leonard was the son of Louis and Irene Barnabe Lelli.

He was of the Catholic Faith. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II.

Survivors include a brother, Adolph Lelli and his wife Darlene of Sacramento, CA.; and a niece, April Glazes of Sacramento, CA.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in Sunset Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Jeske.

There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund.
