LLOYD E. CLEMENT
Mr. Lloyd E. Clement, 77, of 3801 Meadow Dr., died at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 11, 2006) in University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO.
Born January 12, 1929 in Quincy, Lloyd was the son Ada Verna Felsman Karch and Earnest Clement.
Mr. Clement was a member of the Good Life Club and a volunteer at the Hannibal Regional Hospital. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
Lloyd was employed as an adjuster for Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis for 31 years until his retirement in 1989.
Surviving are two nephews, Lindell Johnson and his wife Janet of Clayton and Everett Johnson of New London, MO.; three nieces, Patricia Hesse and her husband Jerry of Quincy, Phyllis Hughes and her husband Ron of Golden and Emily Fusco and her husband Christopher of Maywood, MO.; two great nieces, Michele Keck and her husband Bill of Plainfield, IL. and Sasha Friedlein of Maywood, MO.; four great nephews, Jason Hughes and his wife Lesley of Dubuque, IA., Stanley Hughes of Hollywood, FL., Carl B. Mowen of Camp Point and Steven Johnson of Clayton; and a great great nephew, Carl B. Mowen Jr. of Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, Roman Karch; and his sister, Jeraldine Johnson Graff.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
