LOIS RAE LUDWIG

Mrs. Lois Rae Ludwig, 75, of 1823 North Highland Drive, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday (March 23, 2005) in the home of her daughter at 2066 Chestnut.

Born November 14, 1929 in Moline, Illinois, Lois was the daughter of Fred S. and Elsie M. Close Stevens. She married Loren "Sonney" Ludwig on August 18, 1946 in Quincy. He died May 19, 2004.

Lois was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and involved in Geneology.

Lois was employed by Schaefer Pen in Ft. Madison and then for 14 years for the Ordinance Plant in Burlington.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Arns of Quincy; a grandson, Michael Arns and his wife Tiffany of Quincy; four great grandchildren, Larry Arns and Kendra Arns of Quincy and Kylie Arns and Cole Arns of Monmouth, OR.; a brother, Fred Stevens and his wife Joyce of Quincy; a sister in law, Cleora Pezman of Quincy; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ludwig was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; twin brothers, Donald and Ronald Stevens; and a brother in law, Judge Alfred Pezman.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 3:00 to 6:00 and Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Quincy Animal Shelter.
