LONNIE O. LAIR

Mr. Lonnie O. Lair, 48, of Hull, IL, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday (August 20, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

Born August 9, 1958, in Mt. Clemens, MI, Lonnie was the son of Arvel and Viola Wustenberg Lair. On September 10, 1988, he married Jane Hardwick in Hannibal, MO. She Survives.

Mr. Lair was self employed as a concrete finisher in the Hannibal area, but retired due to health problems in May of 1996. Lonnie enjoyed working on cars and trucks and collecting stuffed lion animals. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Ariel.

Survivors include his wife, Jane, a daughter, Ariel Lair of Hull; a sister, Deborah Hinds of El Paso, TX; a brother, Ronald Lair of Pittsfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lair was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Benjamin Lair; and an adopted sister Rachel Knight.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Hull United Methodist Church located on Highway 106. A dinner will precede the service at 5:30 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Ariel's Education Fund.
