
LOUISE RUTH DENT
Mrs. Louise Ruth Dent, 60, of 300 Cedar St., Apt. 3, died at 11:35 a.m. Saturday (March 25, 2006) in her home.
Born April 17, 1945 in Bristol, TN., Louise was the daughter of Clarence and Margaret Chapman Watson. She married George Franklin Dent in Baltimore, Maryland. He preceded her in death.
Louise was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She loved reading and playing games and was a very devoted babysitter to her grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Dees of Quincy; her son, Kenneth Townley of Bristol, TN.; four grandchildren, Zachary Cain and Noah Franklin, both of Camp Point, IL. and two grandchildren of South Carolina; one brother, two sisters, two adopted sons, Jimmy Edwards and Paul H. Carter, both of Quincy; one adopted daughter, Georgia Edwards of Quincy; three aunts of Texas and one aunt of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother in law, Raymond Collier.
Cremation rites were accorded to Mrs. Dent. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Louise Ruth Dent Memorial Fund.
