
MADELINE M. CAMPBELL
Mrs. Madeline M. Campbell, 87, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 1601 South 24th, died at 3:30 p.m Tuesday (August 7, 2007) in the home.
Born May 6, 1920 in Quincy, Madeline was the daughter of Otto and Elsie Krallman Mueller.
Madeline was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and enjoyed reading and walking.
A 1938 graduate of Quincy High School, Madeline was a longtime employee in the Tea Room at Carson, Pirie & Scott. She later was employed at the Coach House Restaurant until her retirement in 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Geiken and her husband Duane of Kansas City, MO.; two grandchildren, Shannon Horn and her husband John of Goose Creek, S.C. and Matthew Geiken and his wife Janice of Tallahassee, FL.; a brother, William Mueller and his wife Helen of Quincy; three sisters, Betty Krull and Mary Weisenberger and her husband Richard both of Quincy and Jean Hogge and her husband Robert of Independence, MO.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Evelyn Mueller.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robsinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Timothy White. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.
