MARIE "DOTTIE" SELINER

Mrs. Marie Augusta "Dottie" Seliner, 93, of St. Vincent's Home, formerly of 301 North 8th, died at 6:06 a.m. Thursday (November 4, 2004) at Blessing Hospital.

Born December 20, 1910 in Quincy, Marie was the daughter of Joseph L. and Mattie E. Brice Murphree. She married Warren B. Seliner on November 1, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He died September 21, 1978.

A graduate of Quincy High School, Marie was employed as an X-ray Technician for Dr. Swanberg and then as a switchboard operator at St. Mary Hospital for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter in law, Bonnie Ward of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Kim Ward and her fiance' Dan Trent of Mendon, Patty Ward of Springfield, MO., Charlotte Waack and her husband Jeff of Payson, Gay Neff and her husband Kent of Rogers, AR, Diane Gooch and her companion Paula Phillips of Springdale, AR., Steven Gooch of Hugo, OK. and Beverly Quillen and her husband Randy of Arkdelphia, AR; seven great grandchildren, Christopher "Mike" Ward of Mendon, Jeremy Waack and his wife Kaziah of Plainville, Phillip Fejleh of Los Angeles, CA., Ashley Fejleh and Jacqueline Neff of Rogers, AR., Brett Quillen and Lauren Quillen both of Arkadelphia, AR.; two great great grandchildren, Kara Waack and Austin Waack of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Seliner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Kenneth "Mike" Ward; a daughter, Susan Gooch; a brother, Howard Murphree; and two sisters, Pat Vosse and Vera Murphree.

Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 until 10:15 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Quincy Salvation Army.
