Marion G. Jordan, 86, of the Sunset Home, died at 9:00 p.m. Thursday (October 18, 2007) in Blessing Hospital.

Born May 6, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri, Marion was the daughter of William S. and Pearl L. McQueen Jordan.

Marion enjoyed dancing and spending time with her friends. She was employed for many years as a sales clerk for Carson, Pirie & Scott and later for State Street Store until her retirement.

Marion was the last of her family

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Ms. Jordan. Graveside memorial services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in Greenmount Cemetery

There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
