MARJORIE E. CLYMER

Mrs. Marjorie E. Clymer, 82, of 1200 St. Charles Drive, died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday (November 4, 2007) in Blessing Hosptial.

Born March 13, 1925 in Adams County, Illinois, Marjorie was the daughter of Elmer and Ruth McClelland Meyer. She married Carl D. Clymer on June 16, 1951 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1983.

Marjorie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she taught Adult Sunday School for many years.

A graduate of Bowen High School, Marjorie attended Gem City Business College before working for the Internal Revenue Service, Illinois Department of Public Aid and Moorman Manufacturing. Following the birth of her son, Kevin, she devoted her life to caring for her family.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Clymer of Quincy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Clymer was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Carl.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Livengood. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Thursday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
