MARJORIE ANN LAUDWIG
Mrs. Marjorie Ann Laudwig 82, of 1627 Monroe, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (September 16, 2007) in her home.
Born January 29, 1925 in Quincy, Marjorie was the daughter of Arthur A. and Anna Mae Greene Lohmeyer Sr. She married Howard Laudwig on October 20, 1947 in Quincy. He preceded her in death in April 21, 1980.
Marjorie was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and needlework and loved to spend time with her family.
Marjorie was employed as a supervisor for Illinois Bell Telephone and then at Buddy's IGA in Quincy until her retirement.
Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Barton and Karen Lohmeyer both of Quincy; a brother, Arthur "Bud" Lohmeyer Jr. and his wife Elaine "Mickey" of Quincy; three nieces, Barbara Ingram and her husband Lance of Quincy, Cynthia Clark and her husband Larry of Old Lyme, CT. and Cathy Smith and her husband Scott of Salt Lake City, UT.; a nephew, Ricky Baker; and a great nephew, Kyle Ingram of Quincy.
Mrs. Laudwig was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and a sister, Marian Baker.
Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Troxel.
There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
