MARVIN PAUGH

Mr. Marvin Paugh, 84, of St. Vincent Home, formerly of 315 Maple, died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday (April 24, 2007) in Blessing Hospital.

Born March 9, 1923 in Quincy, Marvin was the son of H. Dewey and Amanda Boge Paugh.

Marvin was a member Trinity United Church of Christ and a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He was a 60 year member of Quincy Masonic Lodge #296 andQuincy Consistory. He was also a member of the Quincy Shrine Club and Ansar Shrine Temple of Springfield, IL.

Mr. Paugh was employed at International Shoe Company until it's closing. He then worked at Huck Manufacturing in the Shipping Department for several years until his retirement.

He enjoyed walking, reading and especially loved to travel.

Marvin is survived by his dear friends Mrs. Phyllis Sparks, Ronald Sparks and his wife Rita, David Sparks and his wife Connie, Gary Sparks and his wife Sherry, and thier children and grandchildren.

Mr. Paugh was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Timothy White. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home. Quincy Masonic Lodge #296 will conduct Masonic Services Thursday evening at 7:00.
