MARY E. WOODRUFF SCHNEIDER

Mrs. Mary E. Woodruff Schneider, 56, of 632 York, died at 1:58 p.m. Monday (December 18, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

Born September 7, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa, Mary was the daughter of Stephen Glenn and Ruth Jane Kelly Woodruff.

Mary was of the Baptist Faith. She was an enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She was a fan of the Beatles and was an avid collector of Beatle's memorabilia. Mary was a loving and caring person who cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary served her country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. She was employed as a baker at Wal-Mart for six years.

Surviving are two sons, Dan Schneider and his wife Lisa and Stephen Schneider both of Quincy; a daughter, Normina Morales and her husband Jesus of Bardolph, IL.; nine grandchildren, Samantha Chaplin, Dakota Schneider, Destiny Schneider, Brady Schneider and Landon Schneider all of Quincy and Juan Morales, Zackery Morales, Sabrina Morales and Anjelica Morales all of Bardolph, IL.; six brothers, Charles Woodruff of Hamilton, IL., Ronald Woodruff of West Branch, IA., Paul Woodruff of Stockton, CA., Lynn Woodruff of Kolona, IA., Larry Woodruff of Aztec, NM and James Woodruff of Quincy; four sisters, Marjorie Sanford of Gig Harbor, WA., Joanne Ziegolowski of Muscatine, IA., Linda Cox of Kolona, IA. and Patricia Stinston of Iowa City, IA.; and several nieces and nephews including Nikki Atteberry of Louisiana, MO.

Mrs. Schneider was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Dawn in infancy; and two brothers, Bud Woodruff and Bob Woodruff.

Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 6:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Joel Hulett. Burial with military honors will be held at a later date in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 3:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
