MARY WINDOW

Mrs. Mary Window, 92, of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 1341 S. 12th St., died at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday (January 18, 2006) in the home.

Born April 24, 1913 in Hancock County, IL., Mary was the daughter of Clarence and Ada Tanner Steiner. She married Harry Window on September 18, 1943 in Macomb, IL. He died June 17, 1992.

Mary was a skilled seamstress. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family.

Surviving is her son, Richard L. Window and his wife Donna of Quincy; five grandchildren, Warren Window and his wife Jill of Chicago, IL., Christina Simpson and her husband Christopher of Pearl City, HI., Ryan Window of Quincy, David Window and his wife Meschell of Medical Lake, WA., and Michele Window of Tacoma, WA.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Wayne Window; a granddaughter, Erin Window; three brothers, Dale, Gaylord and Eldon Steiner; and three sisters, Faye Croxton, Ermil Steiner and Fern Steiner.

Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:30 at Hills Grove Cemetery near Colmar by Pastor Tom Waters.

Visitation will be held Monday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
