MAXINE M. BOYER

Maxine M. Boyer, 76, of 2131 Sunnybrook East, died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday (March 1, 2008) in Sunset Home.

Born March 16, 1931 in Quincy. Maxine was the daughter of Harry and Mamie Riggs Kuch. She married Donald E. Boyer on January 25, 1952 in Quincy. He died on Arpil 21, 2001.

Maxine enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, needlepoint and spending time with her family.

Maxine was first employed at St. Mary's Hospital in the admissions office for many years. She then worked in the office's of the Adams County Medical Society until her retirement in 2006.

Survivors include four sons Steve Boyer and his wife Amphone of East Moline, IL; Mick Boyer and his wife Judy of LaGrange, MO; Dave Boyer and his wife Kathleen of St. Louis, MO; and Scott Boyer and his wife Dawn of Quincy; two daughters Cathy Myers and Karen Twaddle both of Quincy. Ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister June Andrews of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers Garland, Eugene, LeRoy and Donald Kuch and a brother-in law LeRoy Andrews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 until the time of services.
