MELODY SCHLUETER

Melody Schlueter, 54, of 2526 Vail Drive, Quincy, died Friday (January 25, 2008) in her home.

Born February 8, 1953 in Oceanside, California., Melody was the daughter of Melvin and Shirley Griffith Caine.. She married Gene Schlueter Jr. in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.

She was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the Elks Lodge #100 and Cedar Crest Country Club. Melody was a fun loving and witty person who loved to read and sing, especially doing Karaoke shows with her husband Gene.. She also enjoyed being with friends and her loving family. She was employed at Harris corporation for over 22 years.

Also survining ia a daughter Dianna Sparrow Cunningham of Quincy; a brother Steven Caine of Quincy; two sisters Jana Caine Huelskoetter and her husband Michael of Chatham, Illinois and Jean Caine Heaton and her husband Steve "Doc" of Deltona, FL; a niece Kelly Hoener, and great niece Kennedy Hoener both of Orange City, Florida, also three Aunts, 2 Uncles and several Cousins.

Mrs Schlueter was preceded in death by her father Melvin, and one niece Danyel Hoener..

Memorial Services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Terry Cain. Inurnment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday Evening from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice or to the Blessing Cancer Center.
