MICHAEL W. TURNER

Michael W. Turner 52, of Ochelata, Oklahoma, died at 3:16 p.m. Monday (November 26, 2007) in his home in Oklahoma.

Born January 8, 1955 in Quincy, Michael was the son of Melvin E. and Betty Sue Willows Turner.

Mike enjoyed doing woodworking, listening to Jazz and doing carpentry and mechanical work. He especially loved his dog, Minnie.

Mr. Turner was a journeyman electrician for various contractors and companies in California. He was a member of the IBEW Local 11 in Los Angeles, California.

Survivors include his parents, Melvin and Betty Sue Turner of Quincy; a brother, Shawn Turner and his wife Michele of Ochelata, OK; two sisters, Suzette Shobe of Keller, TX, and Lorie Turner of Garner, N.C.; five nephews, Paul Turner and Alexander Turner of Ochelata, OK, Christipher Shobe and Aaron Shobe of Keller, TX and Logan Babu of Garner, N.C.; three uncles; and three aunts.

Michael was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev.Lindy Sloan. Burial will be in Ewing Memorial Cemetery in Ewing, Missouri.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the Quincy Public Library.
