
MILDRED I. "MILLIE" ISEMINGER
Mildred I. "Millie" Iseminger 93, of the St. Vincent's Home, died at 1:45 a.m. Friday (September 21, 2007) in the home.
Born February 22, 1914 in Stillwell, IL, Mildred was the daughter of Harry and Emma Belford Lunt. She married Howard W. Iseminger on January 11, 1933 in Hannibal, MO. He died November 23, 1999.
Mildred was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Moose Auxiliary and a graduate of Carthage High School. She loved to play bingo, cards and doing puzzle books.
Mildred was employed at Kresge's as a sales clerk for over 20 years before her retirement in 1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Jill Wegs and her husband Bill of Quincy; two son, Richard "Dick" Iseminger and his wife Janet of Loraine, IL and Dan Iseminger and his wife Ginny of El Cajon, CA; seven grandchildren, Scott and Todd Iseminger of El Cajon, CA, Ann Wolfmeyer and her husband Phil of Springhill, KS, Mark Iseminger of Quincy, Michelle Wright of Golden, IL, Angie Desnoyer and her husband Brett of Bridgeton, MO, Missie Milhauser and her husband Greg of Jacksonville, IL; eight great grandchildren, Katlin Milhauser, Suzanne Wright, Jennifer and Jessica Wolfmeyer, Tanner Iseminger, Juliet Desnoyer, Luke Desnoyer and Seth Iseminger; a brother in law William Childers of Quincy and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Lucille Witt, Amy Wright and Violet Childers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Livengood. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Grace Methodist Church or to St. Vincent's Home.
