
MINNIE ELIZABETH WALBRING
Mrs. Minnie E. Walbring, 84, of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 624 Cherry, died at 4:55 p.m. Friday (October 21, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.
Born May 1, 1921 in LaGrange, MO., Minnie was the daughter of John and Maggie Bell Howell Wiesemann. She married Edward L.J. Walbring on November 18, 1955 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death.
Minnie was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and watching the religious network TV stations. Mrs. Walbring was employed at Motorola, Electric Wheel and Carthage Precision Methode Electrics for several years until her retirement.
Surviving is her daughter, Norma S. Jones and her husband Donald of Quincy; three grandchildren, Debra E. Russell and her husband James of Quincy, Donna R. Horning and her husband Dean of Springlake Park, MN. and Tami L. Clark of Quincy; two great grandchildren, Christine M. and Rhonda L. Fugate, both of Springlake Park, MN.; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great grandson, Cory Wayne Fugate; an adopted son, Joe Kimbrell; a grandson in law, Kenneth Clark; 2 brothers, Ray and Elbert Wiesemann; and 2 sisters, Lola Slater and Ethel Starkey.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Mendon Cemetery by Rev. George Tomko.
