NanC Lueckenhoff

Mrs. NanC Lueckenhoff, 79, of 2209 Sycamore, died at 5:01 p.m. Friday (March 14, 2008) in Blessing Hospital.

Born December 6, 1928 in Jefferson City, Missouri, NanC was the daughter of Arthur and Ruth Speedy Hohenstreet. She married Albert "Al" Lueckenhoff on September 2, 1950 in St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. He survives.

NanC was employed by the Missouri Highway Department in Jefferson City until she and Al moved to Quincy in 1956. She was employed at Merkel's Sporting Goods and Ben Franklin for many years and then for 12 years at So-Fro Fabrics until her retirement.

NanC was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics and porcelain, gardening and playing cards. She was devoted to her family and loved attending her grandchildren's activities.

Survivors include her husband, Al; two sons, Mark Lueckenhoff and his wife Linda of Ewing, MO. and Bruce Lueckenhoff and his wife Penny of Brentwood, TN.; five grandchildren, Bethany Lueckenhoff and Phillip Lueckenhoff both of Ewing, MO. and Josie Lueckenhoff, Clara Lueckenhoff and Heather Lueckenhoff all of Brentwood, TN.; four brothers, Robert Hohenstreet and his wife Janice of Jefferson City, MO., James Hohenstreet and his wife Michelle of Anaheim, CA., Nicholas Hohenstreet and his wife Sandy of Kansas City, MO. and William Hohenstreet of Kansas City, MO.; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lueckenhoff was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, George Hohenstreet.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and at 10:30 in St. Francis Catholic Church by the Rev. Tom Shaughnessy. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday evening at 5:00 in the funeral home.
