
PAUL E. TIMPE
Paul E. Timpe, 77, of 1136 N. 20th St., died at 12:35 p.m. Friday (May 9, 2008) in his home.
Born March 5, 1931 in Quincy, Paul was the son of Walter Timpe and Helen Meckes Hessing.
Paul served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a sales representative for Gates Radio and Harris Corp. He later taught electronics at a technical school in Baltimore, Maryland for several years.
Survivors include a daughter Karen Rose and her husband Ron of Lakewood, CO; two sons Daniel Timpe and his wife Catriona of Ashburn, VA and David Timpe and his wife Olga of Fairfax, VA; three grandchildren Michael Rose of Denver, CO, Conor Timpe and Matthew Timpe both of Ashburn, VA; two nephews Lawrence "Larry" Timpe and his wife Sandra of Macon, MO and Jeffery Timpe and his wife Sue of Palm Dale, CA; a niece Janice Yde and her husband Mark of Downers Grove, IL; five great nieces and nephews and a great great niece; and a sister in law Elizabeth Timpe of Quincy.
Mr. Timpe was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ralph Timpe and a step father Frank Hessing.
Cremation rites have been accorded to Mr. Timpe. Memorial services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. John Kennedy. Private family inurnment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
There is no visitation but friends are invited to the memorial service.
