PATRICIA L. FINLEY
Mrs. Patricia L. Finley 79, of the Illinois Veterans Home, formerly of 1812 Hilltop Drive, died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday (November 25, 2007) at the Illinois Veteran's Home.
Born November 9, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, Pat was the daughter of Joseph and Leila Moran Behrendt. She married Robert M. Finley Jr. on November 9, 1949 in Quincy. He survives.
Pat enjoyed puzzles, Bingo and traveling with her husband throughout the United States. She devoted her life to raising her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, David W. Finley and his wife Laura of St. Louis, MO.; a daughter, Roberta L. Cooper and her husband John of Silex, MO.; five grandchildren, David W. Finley Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Collinsville, IL., Shannon Christen and his wife Kelly of St. Peters, MO., Adam Christen of Pacific, MO., Curtis Christen of Kansas City, MO. and Devon Christen of Ocala, FL.; and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Finley was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 in the All Faiths Chapel at the Illinois Veteran's Home by the Rev. Richard Jeske. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Thursday morning until the time of services at the All Faiths Chapel.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
