
PATRICIA MAST
Mrs. Patricia Mast, 62, of 700 South 17th, Quincy, died at 8:12 a.m. Friday (October 16, 2009) in the emergency room of Blessing Hospital.
Born January 3, 1947 in Quincy, Pat was the daughter of Donald C. and Marjorie A. Kill Baker. She married Robert Mast on October 28, 1967 in Quincy. He survives.
Pat was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and the American Legion Post 37 Auxiliary. She enjoyed scrapbooking, visiting with friends and neighbors and helping others by volunteering at the Illinois Veterans Home, but her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pat was employed as a receptionist at the Adams County Homemaker's until her retirement because of health problems. She had previously worked at St. Mary's Hospital, the Women's City Club and Quincy Notre Dame High School.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; her father, Don Baker of Quincy; two daughters, Deborah Walker and her husband Andy of Macomb, IL and Melissa "Missy" Myers and her husband Kirsten of Quincy; two sons, Brian Mast and his wife Andi of Andalusia, IL and Greg Mast of Quincy; six grandchildren, Ethan Walker, Payton Mast, Luke Mast, Vaughn Myers, Eden Myers and Aurora Myers; a brother, Thomas Baker and his wife Kathy of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mast was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Baker.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and at 10:00 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Monsignor Michael Kuse. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. A Prayer service will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 at the funeral home.
