PEARL M. CONRAD

Mrs. Pearl M. Conrad, 102, of the St. Vincent's Home, formerly of 611 Country Club Heights, died at
9:05 a.m. Thursday (December 9, 2004) in St. Vincent's Home.

Born February 5, 1902 in Milton, Illinois, Pearl was the daughter of Henry Turner and Martha E. Lindsey Mullenix. She married John Hamer Conrad on April 25, 1921 in Winchester, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1947.

Mrs. Conrad was a member of First Christian Church. She loved doing arts and crafts, especially making christmas ornaments for her family.

Mrs. Conrad was employed as a nurse at the Illinois Veterans Home and later as a private duty nurse in Quincy for over 30 years until her retirement.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Louise Schlueter of Quincy and Norma Berwyn of Plymouth, MN.; a son, Hamer "Bert" Conrad and his wife Pat of Evansville, IA.; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three great great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Conrad was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Dale Lucille Pryor; three grandsons, David Conrad, Mike Conrad and Ronald Pryor; a great grandson, Phillip Cook; a son in law, Eugene Schlueter Sr.; five sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Joby Brown. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or St. Vincent's Home.
