PETER FRANCIS SCALES

Peter Francis Scales 77, of the Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Monday (June 6, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.

Born June 4, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, Peter was the son of Peter J. and Mary Scales. Peter was a Brick Layer for Cook County in the Chicago Area. He served his country in the Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, V.F.W. and Bricklayers Local 21.

Surviving are six daughters Kathleen Fischer, Maureen Munson, Mary Scales, Rita Scales, Patricia Ripoli and Barbara Scales; 6 Grandchildren; one brother William Scales of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; two sisters Mary Bern of Homewood, Illinois and Kathleen Scales of Oak Lawn, Illinois; and Many Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Patricia Trivillian and Rosemary Mulheran.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Holy Sepulchre in Alsip, Illinois. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
