PHYLLIS K. OTTEN

Mrs. Phyllis K. Otten, 65, of 2634 Cedardale Drive, Quincy, died at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (May 15, 2008) in Blessing Hospital.

Born September 15, 1942 in Quincy, Phyllis was the daughter of Dale Vollbracht and Lena Mary Kattelmann. She was married July 9, 1960 in Quincy at Salem Church to Ronald Otten Sr. He survives.

Phyllis was an avid soccer fan and enjoyed going to the movies, sewing, quilting, and doing and attending craft shows. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Phyllis was employed at Motorola for several years and then at Harris Corporation for several years until her retirement in 1977.

Survivors include her mother Lena Mary Vollbracht of Quincy; a daughter Debbie Miller and her husband Jeff of Quincy; two sons Ronald Otten Jr and his wife Sheri and Casey Otten and his wife Lisa both of Quincy; eight grandchildren Sarah Miller and her fiance' Dustin DeWitt of Lenexa, KS, Cassie Miller and her fiance' Shawn Henninger of Quincy, Katelyn Miller; Kyle Otten, Tiffany Otten, Adison Otten, Asher Otten, and Emry Otten all of Quincy; two sisters Sue Robertson and Sally Barger both of Quincy; and one brother Walter Inman Jr. and his wife Betty of Quincy.

Mrs. Otten was preceded in death by her step-father Dale Vollbracht and one brother Terry Inman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Harris. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Tuesday until time of services at the funeral home.
