RICHARD H. BALDWIN

Richard H. Baldwin, 76, of 1225 South 7th, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday (November 20, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

Born July 6, 1930 in Saginaw County, Michigan, Richard was the son of Harry and Martha Dickinson Baldwin. He married Helen Kaufman on August 28, 1948 in Quincy. She survives.

Mr. Baldwin was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed reading.

Mr. Baldwin previously was employed at Michelman Steel, Litteral Mfg. and Moorman Mfg . He retired after 21 years as a welder at Knapheide Manufacturing.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; three sons, Ronald Baldwin and his wife Peggy, Randy Baldwin and Debra Carter and Jeff Baldwin and his wife Susie all of Quincy; two daughters, Kathy Hughes and her husband Harold of Peoria, IL. and Karen Nettleton and her husband James of Normal, IL.; nine grandchildren, Bill Baldwin, Shawn Baldwin and his wife Mindy, Michael Hughes, Stephanie Hadsall and her husband Justin, Jennifer Baldwin, Jessica Baldwin, Paige Baldwin, Aaron Baldwin and Shelby Baldwin; 15 great grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Baldwin; two half brothers, Terry Koch and Gary Koch; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters in infancy; a grandson, Scott Baldwin; three brothers, Don, Wayne and Victor Baldwin; and three sisters, Irene Smith, Barb Kitchen and Frances Bryan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. V. Lee Amsler. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
