
ROBERT W. LEPPER
Mr. Robert W. Lepper, 69, of Payson, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday (January 27, 2007) in his home.
Born December 28, 1937 in Quincy, Bob was the son of Clarence F. and Irene Linker Lepper. He married Rebecca McMullen on May 31, 1958 in Plainville. She survives.
Bob was a member of the Payson United Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association. He loved spending time on his farm and working on his old pickup truck. He especially enjoyed tinkering with old International Farmall Tractors. Bob was a loving and devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his grandson Zachary. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Lepper had been employed at Marblehead Lime, Colt Industries and Titan Wheel. He retired as a machinist from Gardner Denver in 2000 after 25 years.
Also surviving is his daughter, Sherry Barry and her husband Kevin of Liberty; a grandson, Zachary Barry of Liberty; a brother, Melvin Lepper and his wife Shirley of Weldon, CO.; a sister, Jackie Marvin and her husband Eugene of Deltona, FL.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Georgia Biggs.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy by Rev. Ron Cox. Burial with Military Honors conducted by the Payson V.F.W. Post #2061 will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Wednesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home in Quincy.
Memorials may be made to the Payson United Methodist Church or the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
