ROBERT S. HALL

Mr. Robert S. Hall, 77, of 916 April Ave., died at 4:12 a.m. Sunday (November 19, 2006) in Blessing Hospital.

Born February 11, 1929 in Muscatine, Iowa, Robert was the son of George W. and Mabel L. Jorgensen Hall. He married Zelma Simpson on September 18, 1957 in Davenport, Iowa. She survives.

Mr. Hall loved to fish. He was employed as the caretaker of Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for several years until his retirement due to ill health in 1976.

Also surviving is a daughter, Judy Reardon and her husband Randy of Springfield, IL.; two sons, Bob Hall and Carla of Quincy and Rick Hall and his wife Theresa of Fowler; nine grandchildren, Michael Reardon of Springfield, IL., Danielle Hall of Alton, IL., April Sprague and her husband Landon of Quincy, Tahnee Bauer and her husband Andrew of Burton, Kara Hall of Quincy, Daisy Hall of Fowler, Summer Hall of Fowler, Jacob Hall of Quincy and Elizabeth Reardon of Springfield, IL.; four great grandchildren, Alyssa and Natalie Sprague, both of Quincy, Jeffery Reardon of Quincy and Brodie Toolate of Quincy; a sister, Estella White and her husband Gene of Davenport, IA. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Beverly Jones and Ethel Kosgard; and two brothers, William and Richard Hall.

Cremation rites were accorded to Mr. Hall. Graveside services with Military Honors by the Golden American Legion Post #801 will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Mt. Horeb Cemetery by Pastor Terry Cain.

There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service.
